Wallet & Payment Terms

Last Updated: May 7, 2026

Effective Date: May 7, 2026

These Wallet & Payment Terms ("Wallet Terms") govern your use of wallet balances, deposits, withdrawals, payment processing, Algonney Pay, and related payment features on the Algonney platform ("Platform"). These Wallet Terms supplement the Terms of Use. By using any wallet or payment feature, you agree to be bound by these Wallet Terms.

1Overview

Payments, deposits, withdrawals, and Algonney Pay features on the Platform are governed by these Wallet Terms. Payment services may be provided by Algonney, Algonney Pay, or third-party providers. Each provider may apply its own terms, conditions, and processing rules.

Not a Bank or Custodian. Algonney is not a bank, financial institution, custodian, money transmitter, or deposit-taking entity. Wallet balances represent account records on the Platform and are not insured, guaranteed, or protected by any deposit insurance scheme.

2Deposits

2.1 Crypto Deposits. You may deposit supported cryptocurrencies into your Algonney wallet by sending funds to a deposit address provided by the Platform. Deposits are subject to blockchain confirmation requirements and may take time to be credited.

2.2 Deposit Review. Deposits may be delayed, rejected, reviewed, or reversed for fraud prevention, sanctions screening, anti-money laundering (AML) compliance, technical reasons, or legal requirements.

2.3 Blockchain Irreversibility. Blockchain transactions may be irreversible. Once a deposit transaction is broadcast to the network, it generally cannot be cancelled or reversed by Algonney. You should verify all deposit details before sending.

3Withdrawals

3.1 Processing Time. Withdrawals are not guaranteed to be instant. Processing times depend on blockchain conditions, security reviews, and provider availability.

3.2 Limits and Restrictions. We may impose minimum withdrawal amounts, maximum withdrawal amounts, cooldown periods, velocity limits, manual review requirements, additional verification steps, network-fee deductions, chain-specific delays, or temporary suspension of withdrawals at any time.

3.3 Availability. Withdrawal availability depends on account verification status, fraud checks, liquidity, provider availability, sanctions screening, and technical conditions. We may refuse or delay any withdrawal request at our discretion where required for security, compliance, or operational reasons.

4Wallet Address and Network Responsibility

4.1 Your Responsibility. You are solely responsible for selecting the correct asset, blockchain network, destination address, memo, tag, destination, and amount for every deposit and withdrawal. Always verify the deposit address, network, and all transaction details before sending.

4.2 Permanent Loss Risk. Transactions sent to unsupported assets, wrong networks, wrong addresses, with missing tags or memos, to smart-contract addresses, or to incompatible wallets may be permanently lost. Recovery is not guaranteed and may not be possible.

You are solely responsible for the following:

  • Network fees, exchange rates, gas fees, and any applicable minimum or maximum limits
  • Chain selection errors, wrong address errors, and memo or tag errors
  • Deposits or withdrawals involving unsupported assets or token contracts

4.3 No Liability. Algonney is not responsible for funds sent to the wrong chain, wrong address, an unsupported token contract, with a missing memo or tag, or to an incompatible wallet. We will not be liable for any resulting loss of funds.

5Algonney Pay

5.1 Payment Processing. Algonney Pay provides payment processing features that may be used for subscriptions, token purchases, and other Platform transactions. Payment processing is handled through server-to-server communication with payment providers and is subject to provider availability.

5.2 Verification. All Algonney Pay transactions use server-to-server verification and webhook verification to confirm payment status. Payment confirmation relies on provider responses and webhook callbacks.

5.3 Provider Availability. Payment processing is subject to provider availability. Algonney Pay may experience delays, failures, or interruptions due to provider outages, maintenance, or technical issues beyond our control.

6Transaction Review and Reversal

We may delay, reject, review, reverse, or require additional verification for any deposit or withdrawal at any time. This applies without limitation to transactions where fraud prevention, sanctions screening, anti-money laundering (AML) compliance, technical reasons, or legal requirements necessitate such action.

We reserve the right to cooperate with law enforcement and regulatory authorities regarding suspicious, fraudulent, or prohibited transactions.

7Fees

Network fees, processing fees, and withdrawal fees may apply to wallet transactions. Applicable fees are disclosed at the time of transaction before you confirm the operation. Fee amounts may vary based on network conditions, blockchain congestion, provider charges, and transaction type.

You are responsible for reviewing all applicable fees before completing any deposit or withdrawal. Fees are non-refundable once a transaction is submitted unless otherwise required by law.

8Data Correction and Reconciliation

We may correct, revise, reconcile, or restate wallet activity, balances, deposits, withdrawals, or transaction records if we detect errors, stale data, provider discrepancies, duplicate events, or system faults. Reconciliation is performed to ensure accuracy and consistency of your wallet records.

If a correction affects your balance, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you. Corrected balances are final and supersede any previously displayed information.

9Relationship to Terms of Use

These Wallet & Payment Terms supplement and form part of the main Terms of Use. In the event of a conflict between these Wallet Terms and the Terms of Use, these Wallet Terms shall prevail with respect to wallet and payment matters. All other terms, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law provisions from the Terms of Use apply to your use of wallet and payment features.
