Tournament Rules

Algonney tournaments are time-bound competitions where eligible participants trade or run strategies and are ranked on a public leaderboard. Each tournament publishes its own details — entry window, duration, supported markets, scoring method, and rewards — at the time of entry. These Rules set the baseline terms that apply to every tournament; the tournament-specific terms control where they add detail.

Participation may require account verification, an active subscription, an entry fee, a deposit, or other criteria as specified per tournament. Some tournaments may be restricted by region, plan tier, or account standing. Participants must comply with the Terms of Use and Acceptable Use Policy.

Each tournament may specify entry requirements including fees, deposits, supported symbols, timeframes, and trading parameters. Entries open and close according to the schedule published for that tournament, and entry may be limited by plan capabilities or available slots.

Scoring methodology, leaderboard calculation, ranking updates, and tie-breaker rules are specified per tournament. Leaderboard standings may be provisional until the tournament closes and results are finalized. Algonney reserves the right to correct scoring errors and restate standings.

We may disqualify participants for abuse, market manipulation, multiple or coordinated accounts, prohibited trading, technical exploitation, violation of tournament-specific rules, or violation of the Terms of Use. Disqualification may result in removal from the leaderboard and forfeiture of any rewards.

Reward structure, payout rules, and settlement timelines are specified per tournament. Rewards are subject to review for fraud, abuse, or rule violations, and we may delay, adjust, or cancel rewards pending review. Rewards are only paid to eligible participants in good standing.

Algonney reserves the right to cancel, modify, or postpone any tournament at any time for technical, legal, security, or operational reasons. Where a tournament is cancelled before it begins, we will handle any entry fees in line with the terms published for that tournament.

All tournament trading is subject to the same execution, risk, and data limitations described in the Risk Disclosure and Terms of Use. Market data, latency, and exchange conditions affect all participants and are outside Algonney's control.

You are solely responsible for any taxes, withholdings, or reporting obligations arising from tournament winnings in your jurisdiction.

These rules are incorporated into and governed by the Terms of Use.
