Risk Disclosure
Last Updated: May 7, 2026
Effective Date: May 7, 2026
1General Risk Warning
Cryptoassets are highly volatile and speculative. Prices can change rapidly and unpredictably. You may lose part or all of your investment. This risk disclosure does not disclose all possible risks associated with using the Algonney platform or trading cryptoassets. You should carefully consider whether trading is appropriate for your financial situation.
2Market Risk
Cryptoasset prices move quickly. Slippage, price gaps, and liquidity constraints are common and can occur without warning. Crypto markets operate 24/7, meaning adverse price movements can happen at any time, including during periods when you are unable to monitor or react. Flash crashes, sudden rallies, and regulatory announcements can cause extreme volatility in seconds.
3Leverage and Liquidation Risk
Trading with leverage is extremely risky. Exchanges may liquidate your positions partially or fully without prior notice. Funding fees, thin liquidity, and delayed order execution can accelerate losses. Algonney does not control leverage settings, margin requirements, funding payments, or liquidation engines on any exchange. Liquidation can result in the total loss of your margin and, in some cases, additional liabilities.
4Automated Trading Risk
Bots may fail to open or close positions, open unintended trades, misfire due to latency, experience duplicated orders, fail to cancel orders, or submit incorrect parameters. Automated trading can magnify both gains and losses. You are responsible for monitoring your bots and intervening when necessary.
5Execution Risk
Orders may be filled partially, rejected, delayed, cancelled, duplicated by exchange behavior, rounded to exchange precision, executed at a worse price, or converted or fallback to market execution depending on your configuration, exchange rules, liquidity, latency, and risk controls. Algonney does not guarantee the execution quality, speed, or price of any order.
6Exchange-Specific Risk
Order types, margin modes, leverage, reduce-only behavior, stop orders, liquidation mechanics, supported symbols, API permissions, and rate limits vary by exchange (Binance, Bybit, OKX). A feature available on Algonney may not be available, reliable, or identical on every exchange. Exchange behavior may change without notice.
7Backtesting and Simulation Risk
Backtests use historical data that may be incomplete, delayed, corrected, synthetic, or estimated. Backtests may not include all fees, slippage, liquidity constraints, funding costs, order book depth, exchange downtime, liquidation behavior, latency, failed orders, or exchange-specific constraints. Past performance is not indicative of future results. A profitable backtest does not guarantee profitable live trading.
8Technical Risk
Internet outages, API changes, exchange downtime, latency, software bugs, data delays, WebSocket failures, and notification failures can affect signals, orders, or displays. Algonney is not responsible for losses resulting from technical failures, whether on our end, your end, or at the exchange.
9Configuration Risk
Misconfigurations such as incorrect position sizing, take-profit or stop-loss levels, leverage settings, or other parameters can cause unintended trades or losses. You are solely responsible for verifying all configuration values before enabling automated trading.
10Regulatory and Legal Risk
Crypto trading may be illegal or restricted in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable laws, tax obligations, reporting requirements, and sanctions applicable to your activity. Algonney is not registered as a broker, dealer, investment adviser, or crypto-asset service provider in any jurisdiction.
11Wallet and Payment Risk
Deposits and withdrawals are subject to blockchain risks, including network congestion, confirmation delays, and transaction failures. Sending to the wrong network, address, or memo can result in permanent and irreversible loss of funds. Withdrawals may be subject to delays, manual review, and limits. Algonney is not liable for losses arising from user error in deposit or withdrawal transactions.
12Third-Party Risk
Algonney relies on third-party exchanges, payment providers, and data providers. These parties may experience outages, change their terms of service, restrict access, modify APIs, delay data, or become unavailable. Algonney is not responsible for the actions, failures, or policies of any third party.
13No Guarantee
Algonney provides no guarantee of profitability, execution quality, data accuracy, uptime, or loss prevention. All trading involves risk, and you should only trade with funds you can afford to lose.
14Professional Advice
You should consult qualified financial, legal, and tax professionals before engaging in cryptoasset trading or using the Algonney platform. Nothing on this platform constitutes professional advice of any kind.
