Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Algonney (the "Service") at algonney.com, in its app and in its guides at docs.algonney.com. The Service is provided by the operator of algonney.com ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms and to the policies they link to. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who can use the Service
- You must be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live.
- You must be allowed to trade crypto assets, and to use a service like this one, where you live. You are responsible for following the laws and rules that apply to you, including tax rules.
- One person, one account, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- You must give true information and keep your email address up to date.
2. Your account and its security
- Keep your password, two-factor codes, backup codes and exchange keys secret. You are responsible for everything done with your account.
- Turn on two-factor authentication. Some actions, such as connecting an exchange key or requesting a withdrawal, require it.
- Tell us at once if you think someone else has accessed your account.
- We never ask for your password, two-factor codes, seed phrases or private keys. Never send them to anyone.
3. What the Service does
Algonney is a software tool. It lets you build trading strategies, mainly by chatting with Jarvis, the AI assistant; test them on historical market data; run them as paper bots with virtual money; and, if you choose, run them as live bots on your own exchange account through a trade-only API key.
4. What the Service does not do
- No advice. The Service does not give investment, financial, legal or tax advice. Nothing on the site, in the guides, in a backtest or from Jarvis is a recommendation to buy or sell anything.
- No promise of profit. Backtests and paper results describe the past or a simulation. They do not predict live results, and no strategy, bot or plan guarantees a profit.
- Not a broker or exchange. We do not execute trades for our own account, act as your agent with an exchange, or hold the funds in your exchange account. Your exchange account and its funds stay yours.
- The USDT balance you deposit in your Algonney wallet to pay for plans and tokens is governed by the Wallet terms.
Read the Risk disclosure before you trade with real money.
5. Exchange accounts and API keys
- You connect an exchange account with an API key that can read and trade only. Keys with any withdrawal, transfer or wallet permission are refused, and keys must be bound to the server IP address shown on the connect form.
- You confirm that a connected account is used by your bots only. The Service never touches orders or positions it did not place, but trading on the same account by other means can conflict with your bots.
- You must have the right to use the exchange account and the key you connect.
- You remain bound by your exchange's own terms, fees and rules. Exchanges can change them, limit your account or stop serving your region at any time.
How keys are stored is explained in the Privacy policy and on Exchange API key security.
6. Paper and live trading
- Paper trading uses virtual money on live prices. Paper results are simulated and do not involve your exchange account.
- Live trading sends real orders to your exchange account. A bot goes live only after its readiness checks pass and you confirm it.
- You are responsible for live orders. You choose the strategy, the markets, the allocation, the sizing, the leverage and the risk limits, and you carry all gains and losses, fees and funding of the orders placed for your account.
- Every strategy must have a stop loss, and a guard watches every position. These safety rules reduce risk but cannot remove it: stops can fill at worse prices, and orders can be delayed, rejected or partly filled.
- You can stop a bot, close its positions or stop all bots at any time in the app.
7. Jarvis, the AI assistant
- Jarvis acts only on your requests, through the same actions and checks as the app, and within the limits of your plan.
- Starting a live bot and buying a plan or tokens always need your confirmation on a card. Check what Jarvis prepares before you confirm.
- AI answers can be wrong or incomplete. Jarvis can misunderstand a request, build a rule you did not intend or explain a result incorrectly. Review every strategy before you save it and every action before you confirm it.
- Jarvis cannot withdraw money or change your password, two-factor setup or exchange keys.
- Chat messages are paid with platform tokens. Secrets are removed from your text before it is sent to an AI model. How chats are stored and reviewed is explained in the Privacy policy.
8. Plans, tokens, wallet and referrals
- Plans and platform tokens are described on Plans and pricing and in the app. Prices are in USDT and shown before you pay.
- Renewals, upgrades, downgrades, plan ends and token expiry follow the Subscription policy.
- Deposits and withdrawals follow the Wallet terms.
- The referral program follows the Referral terms.
- Payments for plans and platform tokens are final and are not refunded, except where the law that applies to you requires a refund.
9. Acceptable use
You must use the Service lawfully and fairly, as set out in the Acceptable use policy. Breaking it is a breach of these terms.
10. Your content and our intellectual property
- Your strategies, chats and other content you create remain yours. You allow us to store, process and display them as needed to run the Service for you. A backtest you share by link can be seen by anyone with the link.
- The Service, its software, design, texts, guides and the Algonney name and logo belong to us or our licensors. You may use the Service for its intended purpose, but you may not copy, sell, resell or build a competing service from it without our written permission.
- Feedback you send us can be used to improve the Service without any obligation to you.
11. Availability and changes to the Service
We work to keep the Service running, but we do not promise that it will always be available or free of errors. It may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, failures of exchanges, networks or providers, security incidents or events outside our control. During an interruption bots may miss entries, exits or trailing moves. Stop losses already placed on the exchange keep working.
We may add, change or remove features, plan limits and supported exchanges or markets. Material changes are announced in the app.
12. Suspension and termination
- You can delete your account in Settings at any time. The deletion follows the steps in the Privacy policy: your wallet must be empty and no live position may be open.
- We may limit, suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the Acceptable use policy, that puts other users or the Service at risk, or where the law requires it. Where the law requires notice, we give it. Suspending an account stops its bots and ends its sessions.
- In a security incident we may pause new activity, such as new entries or withdrawals, for all or some users until it is safe.
13. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises about results, accuracy of market data, or fitness for a particular purpose. Trading crypto assets carries a high risk of loss.
14. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, or indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us for the Service. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law where you live does not allow to be limited.
15. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. We announce material changes in the app before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the new terms apply. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version.
